Award winning filmmakers Jennifer Baichwal and Nick de Pencier, and renowned photographer Edward Burtynsky, beautifully weave together diverse stories from around the globe that eloquently detail humanity’s relationship with water through the ages: how we are drawn to it, how we use it, and the magnitude of our need for this rapidly depleting resource.

  • Low on content. Artistic, but slow and boring

The movie appears like an afterthought... it seems like the producers had a lot of visually attractive content which they put together to weave a story. But, the end product is a very slow, disconnected set of narrations that make little sense. There is no storyline, plot, or major take-always either. It was quite boring right from the beginning. Visuals are good and hence the extra star.
