  • Amusing

The movie is amusing, has a few lol moments and a predictable storyline. However, am I the only one who wonders, since they have a military, what combat in the cars/planes universe would look like? Also...what made all these places? I mean, the vehicles can't make themselves.
  • I'm 30 and I love this movie!

I went a long time not seeing this. Not because I thought it was going to be bad, which it totally isn't! But because I just didn't get around to it. Now that I have seen it and the sequel, Fire and Rescue, I'm glad that I did! The movie has a simple plot: underdog story of a hero who wants to win big to prove he is more than he is. Dusty as a character is likeable, fun and very caring. Not a single time does he only think about himself, always caring about those around him, wihch is a great thing for kids to learn early in life. The rest of the characters are mostly forgettable, with the exception of Skipper, the Veteran War Plane. Where this movie really shines is the flying sequences. The film makers went to alot of trouble to get avitation terms and techniques right. Most of the aerial shots are breathtaking. I wish I had seen this in the threatre! Overall, ignore what people are saying about this. This is a movie primarily for kids, and it should be judged accordingly. This isn't a masterpiece like The Lion King or Finding Nemo, it's not supposed to be, but its still great at what it does and has some good stuff for the adult/parent crowd. As I mentioned, I am 30 years old and I love this movie and its sequel. I even bought a toy figure of Dusty! I hope they come out with a third movie. I want to see more adventures with Dusty and his pals!
