Find out which of the long list of suspects is the culprit - from the eccentric art dealer and a missing playboy to a crazy neighbor and Fletch’s Italian girlfriend. I love this movie. Hamm never disappoints. Whether serious or funny, he always comes through. He is Mr. Versatile. I hope he returns as Fletch again. It was a great evening watching Fletch and enjoying Imo’s Pizza. It doesn’t get any better!

I’m a huge fan of the original and a huge Chevy Chase fan in general. I’ll admit that I wasn’t overly impressed with the trailer but I tried to keep an open mind anyway because I love the character. I’m VERY GLAD that I did. “Confess, Fletch” is modern, updated and incredibly entertaining. If you’re a fan of Fletch or just looking for a good comedy, check this one out!

  • A smarter, more modern Fletch

Jon Hamm performs a welcome modernization of quick-witted investigative reporter Irwin M. Fletcher with a pitch-perfectly dry and deadpan delivery, removing much of the silliness of previous on-screen efforts. There’s no need for fantasy daydream sequences featuring animated birds nor does Hamm’s version of the character need to resort to dime store disguises for goofy laughs. While there will always be a revered, beloved place for the Fletch films of decades ago, nostalgia will only get you so far. In a world of ridiculous high-dollar reboots that slap you upside the head with fan service until you’re numb, Confess, Fletch makes subtle throwbacks and a few winks and nods to its on-screen past but doesn’t dwell. What unfolds during this new Fletch adventure is a well-paced, charming, smart, and delightfully fun mystery and Hamm perfectly delivers all of the charm and gravitas of the titular character in fine form with an excellent supporting cast. Worth your time? Absolutely!
