Description

After a failed global-warming experiment, a post-apocalyptic Ice Age has killed off nearly all life on the planet. All that remains of humanity are the lucky few survivors that boarded the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe, powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system has evolved aboard the train, fiercely dividing its population—but a revolution is brewing. The lower-class passengers in the tail section stage an uprising, moving car-by-car up toward the front of the train, where the train's creator and absolute authority resides in splendor. But unexpected circumstances lie in wait for humanity’s tenacious survivors...

The worst movie I’ve ever watched, and I’m trying not to exaggerate. Just truly awful. Nearly every scene made me feel physically ill. The acting and writing was difficult to sit through. It’s a bad plot, and it’s filled with holes. Nearly any movie that tries to depict a political message is painful, but this was agony. Just the worst. This is definitively Chris Evans’ all time low.

Seriously - just don’t. This movie is beyond terrible, not worth the one star I’m forced to give it. Just the stupidest concept - the absolute worst of all humanity, locked in murderous conflict by stereotypical villains, all together on a train, which happens to be a perpetual motion machine, riding around at breakneck speed, though a world that is stuck in an ice age. Nobody maintains the track, it just somehow never needs work. The wealthy are all hedonists addicted to this drug that also turns out to be dynamite. There is just nothing compelling about the plot or the characters at all, it’s just 2 hours of my life pointlessly wasted.
  • Rent it if you must

Or just pass. I appreciated the class statement this film is trying to make but its just too much without a great ending.
  • Snowpiercer turned itself into a classic

Snowpiercer is a hope of survival and the cinematopgraphy was incredible even the actors like Chris Evans Tilda Swinton and Ed Harris as Mr Willford all of them were excellent. Snowpiercer should be held as a rendered but entertaining survival film.

Story line is awful. No worth the time or the money. I can’t believe it’s rated so high.

I get over my life span their have been more movies over natural disasters and “global warming” climate change is always inevitable. More so these days. But the book of Revelation tells about in the end of days more and more natural disasters. Now at first Idk what to make of this movie, but when I reached the end the realization of it being everyone has a place in the cog, then nope I’m gonna break free of it. Was like seriously that’s all it is. Now I like Chris Evans, but man these days good movies are seriously hard to find now that the Avengers are over. Even I got like oh great another avengers movie after 10 years it’s like yeah ok. So I didn’t love or even a little like this movie. I was so bored I rented it just to have something to watch, and I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but it wasn’t the best. Chris Evens is what made me put two stars cuz he is pretty cool. Now that Avengers is over I do hope he finds better roles than this.
